Society of Toxicology of Canada

The Society of Toxicology of Canada Inc. is a non-profit association whose objectives are to promote the acquisition, facilitate the dissemination, and encourage the utilization of knowledge in the science of toxicology. The Society recognizes the universality of science and adheres to principles which affirm membership and free circulation of bona fide scientists in a non-discriminatory fashion.

The STC is proud to be a founding member of the IUTOX and is honoured to be organizing ICT in 2028. This marks the third time that STC has been selected to cohost this prestigious event with the IUTOX. 

International Union of Toxicology

IUTOX is the voice of toxicology on the global stage; the organization which seeks to increase the knowledge base of toxicological issues facing humankind and to extend this knowledge to developing societies and nations. Founded in 1980, IUTOX now has 63 affiliated societies representing all six continents and over 25,000 toxicologists from industry, academia and government as members; offering a diverse and challenging perspective on every issue and development relating to the profession.

IUTOX achieves its vision by fostering international scientific cooperation for the global acquisition and utilization of knowledge in toxicology for improvement of the health of humans and their environment.
