"Toxicology in a Changing World"
We live in a changing world with ever–expanding toxicological challenges and concerns. In parallel, we have substantial bases of knowledge and scientific and technological advances that, if integrated appropriately, may help us find solutions. This conference will present the following themes to address these topics:
1. Emerging Exposures of Concern
Endocrine-disrupting chemicals, microplastics, electronic components and waste and more
2. Toxicology Across the Lifespan
Developmental Origins, Genetic, Epigenetic, Clinical and Forensic
3. Advances and New Approaches in Toxicity Testing
Modelling, Artificial Intelligence, novel approach methods, -omics,
4. Assessing Novel Therapeutics, New Technology and Medical Devices
5. One Health and Toxicology, the Interdependence of all Living Things, Environmental Justice
Climate Change, Environmental Contaminants, Food Safety
6. Indigenous People’s Perspectives and Health
7. Interdisciplinary approaches to Exposures and Health
Crossing traditional discipline boundaries; e.g. biomonitoring, environmental and occupational epidemiology.
8. Toxicology for Next Generation Risk Assessment
Cumulative, Mixtures, Multi-stressor Interactions, Susceptibility, In vitro to in vivo extrapolation
